Know how your boiler is doing

We service domestic natural-gas boilers across North Wales and agreed North West locations. Tell us the make, model and when it was last serviced so we can prepare for the visit. If the boiler already has a fault, choose a repair appointment so we allow the right time.

Your engineer follows the appliance manufacturer’s service instructions and explains any issues found. Repairs and replacement parts are discussed separately. Keep the service record with your boiler documents and check your own manufacturer’s warranty conditions.

Start with your needs

What a boiler service helps you understand

01

How the boiler is operating

The engineer follows the relevant manufacturer’s procedure, which can include checking operation, safety devices and combustion. The appropriate checks depend on the appliance; a visual look at the casing alone is not a full maintenance procedure.

02

Whether anything needs attention

A service can reveal wear, leakage or other concerns that need further investigation. It does not guarantee that a boiler will never break down. Any repair recommendation should be explained separately from the routine service.

03

What to keep for your records

Keep the service record with the appliance details and installation documents. If your boiler has a manufacturer’s warranty, check its exact servicing conditions rather than assuming every warranty works in the same way.

A clear scope

Know what you’re arranging.

The service is tailored to the boiler manufacturer’s instructions. Tell us about existing faults first so we book an appropriate appointment.

Care in the details

Understand the work. Feel comfortable with the next step.

Clear access to the boiler and controls. Have the appliance manual or previous service record ready if available, and tell us about any recent faults before the visit.

The appointment or quotation should identify the agreed work, access arrangements and any limitations. If the engineer finds something outside that scope, we explain the options and costs before additional work goes ahead.

From your first enquiry

What happens next.

A practical guide to the process, with details agreed for your property.

01

Identify the appliance

Send the boiler make, model, fuel type and any previous problems.

02

Prepare the visit

We agree access and an appointment. Keep the boiler area clear.

03

Service and explain

The engineer carries out the relevant procedure and explains anything requiring attention.

04

Keep the record

Retain the service record and arrange separately agreed follow-up work if needed.

A smoother appointment

A little preparation goes a long way.

Don’t wait for the breakdown

A service is a maintenance appointment. If the boiler has stopped working, select a repair enquiry and describe the fault.

Make access straightforward

Clear cupboards or stored items around the boiler. Let us know if it is in a loft, a restricted space or a position requiring special access.

Share the history

Mention recurring pressure loss, unusual noises, leaks or recent error messages, even if the boiler seems to be running normally on the day.

Boiler servicing FAQs

Useful details before you decide. If your question is more specific, our team is happy to help.

How often should I book a boiler service?

Follow your manufacturer’s instructions. For most domestic gas boilers this is annually; it may also be a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Is a service the same as a landlord gas safety check?

They are different appointments. A service maintains the boiler; a landlord gas safety check examines the relevant gas appliances and produces a separate safety record. Ask us to arrange both together.

Can you service a boiler that is not working?

Please book a boiler repair or diagnostic visit first. We need to assess the fault before confirming whether a routine service is suitable.

How long does a service take?

The time varies with the boiler, access, condition and manufacturer’s procedure. We allow for the appliance details you provide and will explain if investigation or extra work is needed.

Should I book in summer or winter?

You can arrange servicing throughout the year. Planning before the busiest heating season can give you more flexibility, but available appointments should always be checked with the team.

Can servicing prevent every breakdown?

No. Servicing helps maintain the appliance and can identify concerns, but it cannot guarantee that a component will not fail later.

Do you service oil or LPG boilers?

This site’s confirmed servicing offer is for domestic natural-gas boilers. Other fuels require the appropriate competence and are not offered as confirmed bookings here.
