Prioritise what needs doing

We help organise plumbing work around access, budgets and the people using the property. A clear list of faults and priorities lets us discuss what can be combined in one visit and what may need a separate survey.

For ongoing arrangements, we agree the properties, work types, approval process and reporting. General property maintenance does not mean every trade is included: the quote identifies the plumbing and heating scope and any separate responsibilities.

Start with your needs

Separate the urgent, the routine and the planned

01

Repairs needing prompt attention

Active leaks, loss of essential facilities and heating faults may need an early conversation. Describe the impact on the occupants so urgency can be understood and availability checked.

02

Routine plumbing maintenance

Small leaks, worn fittings and valves can be grouped into an organised list. Identifying products and access requirements before the visit helps the team allow the right time and consider parts.

03

Larger improvements

Boiler replacements, radiator changes and bathroom work usually need a defined scope. Set priorities and target dates, particularly where other trades or a new tenancy affect the programme.

A clear scope

Know what you’re arranging.

Maintenance is most useful when responsibilities are clear. We agree the plumbing and heating work, access and reporting rather than treating a general list as an unlimited instruction.

Your agreed visit or quotation

What we can include

  • Review of the repair list
  • Agreed priorities and visit scope
  • Authorisation for additional work
  • Relevant completion information
Discussed before proceeding

What may need a separate price

  • Additional trades or structural repairs
  • Hidden defects beyond the original scope
  • Replacement materials and fittings
  • Further visits outside the agreed arrangement

Care in the details

A clear brief. A well-planned job.

Include the property address, a description of each issue, access details and the date the building needs to be ready. Mention any occupied areas or restrictions.

The appointment or quotation should identify the agreed work, access arrangements and any limitations. If the engineer finds something outside that scope, we explain the options and costs before additional work goes ahead.

From your first enquiry

What happens next.

A practical guide to the process, with details agreed for your property.

01

Build the list

Record each issue, the location and how it affects the property.

02

Group and prioritise

Discuss what can be combined and what requires a separate survey.

03

Agree access and authority

Name the keyholder and the person who approves work.

04

Review completion

Keep track of completed repairs, remaining items and follow-up quotes.

A smoother appointment

A little preparation goes a long way.

Make the list specific

‘Bathroom needs attention’ is less useful than a clear description of the leaking fitting, failed flush or damaged tray. Include known make and model details.

Be clear about ownership

Identify whether Corva, the owner or another trade is supplying each fitting. This reduces delays caused by missing or incompatible products.

Set a realistic deadline

Tell us why a date matters, such as a tenancy starting or a facility reopening. We can then discuss the scope and availability together.

Property maintenance FAQs

Useful details before you decide. If your question is more specific, our team is happy to help.

Can you combine several small repairs?

Yes, where practical. Send the complete list before booking so we can allow suitable time and prepare materials.

Do you work in occupied properties?

Yes. We discuss access, disruption and any additional needs before arranging the work.

Can you agree regular maintenance?

We can discuss a planned schedule and scope. Contact us with the properties and services you need.

Can you inspect a list before carrying out work?

Yes, a survey or diagnostic visit can be discussed where the condition or extent is unclear. The survey scope and any charge should be agreed in advance.

Will one visit finish every item?

Not always. Some items need identification, specific parts, other trades or more time than a single visit allows.

Can you maintain holiday or empty properties?

We welcome suitable enquiries. Provide the access arrangements, operating dates and whether any services are isolated or unused.

Do you offer a general building maintenance contract?

Our confirmed offer centres on plumbing and domestic heating. Other trades and specialist work need their own defined scope and arrangements.
