From a small leak to a bigger improvement

We repair and replace common household plumbing fittings, investigate accessible leaks and help with water-supply and waste-pipe problems. Tell us what is happening and which room is affected, and we will arrange the right type of appointment.

Some leaks are hidden behind walls, under floors or beneath shower trays. We explain the proposed investigation and any access work before starting. Tiling, plastering and other making good are included only where your written quote says so.

Start with your needs

The everyday jobs we can help with

01

Taps, basins and sinks

Dripping taps, loose fittings and waste-pipe leaks can all need different parts or access. Tell us the fitting type and whether the problem is above or below the basin, sink or worktop.

02

Toilets and cisterns

A constantly filling cistern, weak flush or leak around a connection may have a repairable cause. Concealed cisterns and older fittings need particular attention to access and compatible replacement parts.

03

Showers, pumps and pipework

Describe whether you have low flow, unstable temperature, a leak or a fitting that has stopped working. The water supply and shower type help determine whether a repair, adjustment or replacement should be considered.

A clear scope

Know what you’re arranging.

A clear description helps us prepare, but we may need to inspect the existing installation before identifying the part or confirming the repair.

Care in the details

Understand the work. Feel comfortable with the next step.

Tell us the make and model before booking. We will check whether the customer-supplied item is suitable and clarify the installation scope and responsibility for the product.

The appointment or quotation should identify the agreed work, access arrangements and any limitations. If the engineer finds something outside that scope, we explain the options and costs before additional work goes ahead.

From your first enquiry

What happens next.

A practical guide to the process, with details agreed for your property.

01

Describe the fitting

Tell us the room, the problem and any make or model information.

02

Review access

We discuss whether the part is exposed, concealed or difficult to reach.

03

Agree the repair

The engineer explains the work and any additional materials required.

04

Check operation

The repaired or replaced fitting is checked as part of the agreed work.

A smoother appointment

A little preparation goes a long way.

List all the small jobs

If you have several repairs, mention them together. This helps the team allow time and consider which fittings or materials may be needed.

Measure and identify

For a replacement you have bought, send product details and dimensions before the appointment. Similar-looking fittings are not always interchangeable.

Clear the cupboard

Empty the space under a sink or around a cistern where possible, so the engineer can reach the installation without moving your belongings.

Plumbing repairs FAQs

Useful details before you decide. If your question is more specific, our team is happy to help.

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes. We welcome enquiries for individual repairs as well as larger plumbing projects.

Can you fit taps or a toilet I have supplied?

Often, yes. Send the product details and a description of the existing installation so we can check suitability.

Is decorating or tiling included?

Only if it is specifically included in your quote. We will flag any expected access work and making-good requirements before starting.

Do you carry every tap or toilet part?

No. Some fittings use model-specific cartridges, valves or seals. We may need to identify and order a compatible part before completing the repair.

Can you trace a hidden leak?

We can investigate within an agreed scope. Access may require opening up surfaces, and the exact source is not always apparent at the first inspection.

Do you replace macerators or pumps?

We welcome enquiries. Provide the make, model and installation details so we can review the scope, access and replacement requirements.

Can I add another job when the engineer arrives?

Please mention extra work as early as possible. It depends on the time available, materials and the agreed authorisation; it cannot always be added to the same visit.
