Washing machine & dishwasher plumbing

Arrange suitable water supply and waste connections for a washing machine or dishwasher. Corva can review existing connections, leaking fittings and changes needed for a new appliance location.

Existing connection or a new location?

Replacing an appliance beside suitable existing services is different from creating a new connection elsewhere. Tell us where the appliance will stand, where the supply and waste are and whether the machine is freestanding or integrated. Photos inside adjacent cupboards are helpful.

Check the installation requirements

The appliance instructions specify connection and hose requirements. Extensions and improvised routes may not be appropriate. Send the model information so the proposed connection, isolation and waste arrangement can be checked before installation is agreed.

Keep the quotation clear

Water plumbing does not include appliance fault repairs, new electrical circuits, cabinet alterations or door-panel fitting unless separately agreed within the team’s scope. Specify who disconnects and removes the old appliance, and whether the new one will be unpacked and accessible.

Good to know

Washing machine & dishwasher plumbing: your questions

Clear answers before you arrange the next step.

Can you repair the appliance itself?

This service concerns water supply and waste plumbing. Internal appliance repairs need an appropriate appliance repair service.

Can you add a dishwasher connection?

Send the proposed location and existing plumbing details so we can assess a suitable supply and waste route.

Is an electrical socket included?

No. Any required electrical installation work must be separately arranged with an appropriately competent person.
