Report the fault to the right contact
Tell your landlord or agent what is wrong, when it started and whether the problem affects heating, hot water or a water fitting. Include any boiler error code visible without removing covers. Follow the landlord’s emergency arrangements; a Corva enquiry does not automatically authorise a repair on their behalf.
Make an appointment easier to complete
Once a visit is authorised, agree who provides access and how the engineer can reach the affected area. Mention controlled entry, parking or communication requirements through the agreed booking channel. Do not publish sensitive personal details in a general job description.
Keep a useful record
Note the date you reported the issue, the reference provided and the appointment arrangements. Explain if the fault changes or becomes urgent. Requests about compensation, tenancy rights or complaints about your landlord should go through the appropriate landlord or advice route; Corva can discuss its own work and attendance.
